Josh was asked to Preference by one of his good friends, who also happens to live in our ward. Aubree's dad and I actually went to high school together. Apparently she asked him by making an announcement in Sunday School opening exercises that went something like this, "I've got dibbs on Josh!" What's not to like?! I also love that she broke with tradition and didn't have a "day date." They actually just went to dinner and the dance. My friend Kristen's 4 year old daughter said it best when she saw their picture. She said, "Oh, she looks so beautiful."
