The smallest good deed is better than the grandest good intention.
I first saw this saying on a poster at a friend's house while I was at Snow College. The saying has stayed with me ever since. I'm trying to spend more time focusing on the needs of others. I often find myself spending more time trying to think of something fancy or elaborate to do for someone rather than just making a phone call or sending a text message to let them know I'm thinking about them.
